The end of February already ?

Seems like this month has just flown by.  My head is still in December mode. So what have we been doing? I've been helping out at Wabash Valley.  I think Aman considered it both a blessing and a curse.  I pretty much said "There the shop is, have at it"  But that also meant if it got done he did it.

He's gotten a lot done this winter.  He rebuilt the bean planter,
 rebuilt the Tilloll,
Rebuilt the ripper
Think it needed it?

and did a lot of smaller jobs.  I called Monday morning checking in.  He said he'd cut down 3 trees for Mom and had 2 to go
Me? I've been working on other folks furnaces
Doing GasChecks
 playing with sheet metal
hooking up generators
Just enjoying seeing new things.
These were in a customer's back yard

It's been an enjoyable winter

Goodbye green tractor

Larry and his brother drove from near Wichita, Kansas to buy the 3010

I kind of hated to see it go, it was a great tractor to drive.  It just didn't fit our needs.  Earlier this year we sold Milo and Lenore's old Allis Chalmers
But we replaced both with another 966
We can eliminate quite a few filters from our inventory now.

Just one sheet ...

We had some really strong winds this week.  We came through OK ... except for one piece of corrugated roofing.
Yes, from right on top of the barn.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure I am up to fixing it.  I went to the Dr about a month ago with a knee problem.  She told me no climbing.  I've been trying to comply as much as possible but there are still a lot of stairs to go up and down.

The weather has not been cooperative for getting up there this week.  Climbing up there is a challenge on a good day.  It's too high for Wabash Valley's scissor lift, and too far in for our bucket truck.  Even a 60 ft JLG would be marginal.  It would at least get you to the upper roof.
And I don't have one of those, either. So I have a call in to the insurance agent right now, to see if we have coverage on the barn.

So how have things been otherwise?
Does that photo even require an explanation?  1353 is putting coolant in the oil pan.

Oh and Neal fell off a chair and broke his collar bone
But overall I guess it hasn't been that bad a week down on the farm.
